Plan your trip
Getting to Puffin Fishing Charters is easy—and honestly, the drive is part of the adventure. Seward sits about 2.5 hours south of Anchorage, along the Seward Highway, one of the most scenic roads in Alaska. You’ll follow Turnagain Arm with views of mountains, tidal flats, and wildlife, so plan a little extra time and enjoy the ride.
Once you arrive in Seward, you’ll find a laid-back harbor town with plenty of places to stay, eat, and explore. Our boats depart from the Seward Small Boat Harbor, and we recommend getting into town the night before your trip so you can relax, grab dinner, and be ready for an early morning departure.
Whether you’re building a full Alaska vacation or just sneaking away for a few unforgettable days on the water, Seward is an easy stop—and fishing out of Resurrection Bay is hard to beat.
