These powerful fish can be found anywhere from offshore depths to surprisingly shallow water as they feed, creating some of the most exciting fishing Alaska has to offer.

Alaskan halibut are known for their strength and endurance. With pure muscle and no wasted energy, they put up a serious fight and test even experienced anglers. Our crew is there every step of the way—coaching, baiting gear, and helping you land your fish safely and efficiently.

These trips are designed for anglers who want to focus on halibut, with rockfish opportunities available as limits allow. Many of our guests spend time fishing salmon on the Kenai River and choose this trip to round out their Alaska experience with premium white-meat fish.

Because these trips are dedicated to halibut and rockfish, we can spend more time targeting larger fish and less time switching species. We adjust our strategy based on conditions and location, traveling east or west as needed to give you the best opportunity for success.
